Baskin Robbins: September Flavors

Sep 12 2008 • Snacks

I imagine it’s warmer down south but so far, it’s really starting to feel like September. Alternating high and low temperatures, punctuated with bouts of rain, and the smell of wood-burning stoves being fired up. It’s almost to the point where ice cream will be last on my list of sweet treats. I think Baskin Robbins can sense this because there are only 3 new flavors this month.

Flavor of the Month

Baskin Robbins: Darjeeling Tea

Carefully selected Darjeeling used lavishly, authentic tea flavor. The refined, rich fragrance heals the spirit.

Other Flavors

Baskin Robbins: Baseball Park Baskin Robbins: Blueberry Panna Cotta

Baseball Park

Each time you eat this, your feeling is excitement, as if at a baseball park! The fun snack texture of popcorn, pretzels, and peanuts is set into caramel popcorn ice cream deliciously! (NOTE: I have no idea what’s actually in this ice cream but from appearance alone, it’s different from Baseball Nut, which can be bought in the US.)

Blueberry Panna Cotta

The perfect harmony of faint sweet and sour blueberry ice cream with blueberry pulp.

Baskin Robbins: Cream Soda Baskin Robbins: Flower Shower Sherbet

Cream Soda

Everyone’s favorite cream soda is now an ice cream! The blue and white colored summer-like fresh soda sorbet and creamy vanilla ice cream are, in some respects, perfectly matched. Moreover, in the soda sorbet is satisfying ramune flavor.

Fruit Shower Sorbet

A mix of yellow passion fruit, orange apricot, red strawberry, pomegranate, black cassius, and apple. When 3 colors of sherbet and 6 fruits are melted together, it’s like a fruit shower in your mouth.

Baskin Robbins: Mango Tango Baskin Robbins: Pink Grapefruit Sorbet and Cream

Mango Tango

Aromatic mango ribbons in the quality sweetness of mango ice cream, like the love of 2 people dancing in a tango.

Pink Grapefruit Sorbet & Cream

A juicy taste made by the luxury of pink grapefruit. The faint bitter characteristic and milk ice cream is a flavor favored by adults.

Baskin Robbins: Ringo Sorbet Baskin Robbins: Tiramisu

Ringo Sorbet

This ice cream uses the superior Aomori “Buji” fruit juice for sweetness and aroma. Apple aroma and sweet and sour flavors. This sorbet has unadulterated juicy flavor.

Tiramisu

Ice cream with rich tiramisu. Moist coffee flavored sponge cake finished with espresso ribbons.

Baskin Robbins: Twinberry Cheesecake

Twinberry Cheesecake

A cheesecake ice cream with strawberry and blueberry ribbons and real cheesecake pieces.

Wow, you are making me water for these.

Darjeeling mmmm. Cream Soda, Ringo Sorbet and Mango Tango look good too.

Oh nooo way, Darjeeling! That’s so awesome.

A crazy idea just flashed across my mind.

I think the ice creams should have toppings like apple or strawberry bits to bring everything up a notch ~<3

Your first paragraph was really on the mark (expect no wood fires here :( ) Ringo Sorbet and Darjeeling have my attention this month… Now if I could bring myself to cycle out and spend the money…

Cream Soda Ice Cream looks great. I like the drink too, actually.

@Hynavian: I wish! They also have crepes though, which is as close as they get.

@issa-sa: I don’t think it’s really fall without the smell of a wood fire. :P I had it back in the US and now here, so it’s quite nice.

@CI: I like the drink too but the ice cream tastes different. I didn’t like it. :(

I could really go for the Darjeeling. Though the Ringo sorbet has also peaked my interest.

They have seasonal ice cream flavors?Wow!
Im somewhat concerned about the Ballpark icecream but otherwise they sound delicious.

Over here you get all year long the same old boring flavors

Honestly, I’d be stuck between the Mango and Cream Soda.

baseball park doesn’t look like chocolate… is it? it looks kinda like mocha or coffee.

@Blowfish: According to the Baskin Robbins website, there are seasonal, regional, and monthly flavors. I can’t remember the one at home but I’m fairly certain they had some seasonal flavors.

@biankita: Unfortunately, I don’t know. Looking at the list of ingredients, I’m going to guess it’s a peanut butter ice cream.
